Hauppauge, NY – March 2014 – ClearVision Optical’s first-ever PuriTi Twitter party, held February 26, proved to be a success as it resulted in nearly 430 tweets from eye care professionals, buying groups, and consumers reaching nearly 19,000 twitter followers.
The online celebration used the #PuriTi hashtag to introduce the high-quality 100% titanium brand through informative, interactive social engagement. Attendees learned about the features and benefits of the titanium collection, received tips on how to maximize the PuriTi experience, saw firsthand in-store merchandising items, and were entered to win great prizes every 5 minutes – all in 140 characters tweets.
Additionally, virtual partygoers discussed design details and brand positioning directly with ClearVision’s Senior Product Brand Manager and PuriTi designer, Cathy Kaye (@K97Cathy), were able to connect directly with ClearVision’s special guest and social media guru, Dr. Alan Glazier OD (@Eyeinfo), and chatted live with ClearVision’s President David Friedfeld (@OpticalBuddy.) The PuriTi Twitter party was moderated by Clearvision’s social media specialist.
